New EP Release soon

Karmachain is a Grunge rock band out of Asheville. The band does a mix of grunge and classic rock covers, as well as throwing in their same-style of original songs. This is a solid, hard rock grunge band to be reckoned with. Karmachain features the powerhouse vocals of Abbe Davis, and a pocket of hard rock, metal -punk, and grunge band members. The band rouses crowds with energetic shows. They taunt their audiences with flirtation and a rock alchemy.
Expect to hear songs from Black Sabbath, Soundgarden, Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, or Motorhead at any of the shows. Karmachain's unique rock sound also has the influences of the covers you hear them play. However, when they break out an original, it sounds like their own style, and it rocks to the max! Songs feature interesting lyrics, riff-rich guitar, and choruses that stay in your mind. "Day of Colors," is Karmachain's new rock single, played on Lithium and Octane channels on Sirius XM radio.

Abbe Davis was in grunge band, Sordid Fable in Florida, as well as her originals band in NYC and Boston, Karma Daze. She has played the Parkland Memorial Concert with Sordid Fable in FL, the Miami River Blues Festival (with Southern Reach, her former blues band) alongside Buddy Guy. Abbe is also editor of Trurockrevival.com, a top online rock and roll magazine. She has interviewed Sir Brian May of Queen, Mark Farner from Grand Funk Railroad, as well as Jimmie Vaughan with the Fabulous Thunderbirds, Brian Johnson/Angus Young from AC/DC, Paul Rodgers of Bad Company, Lita Ford, Geddy Lee from RUSH, James Hetfield from Metallica, and several pivotal rock artists. "I love speaking to names in music that have inspired myself and so many others. Says Abbe, 'I enjoy finding out how they went about the whole music path or process, and what they learned. These people haved paved the way for all of us to play music.'

Karmachain's much-awaited EP will be out soon. I got to hear demos of two songs on it. "Come On, Cmon" nods to Van Halen and AC/DC with a classic rock arena aura, and I dig that chorus. My other favorite cut is Dashboard, which flawlessly fuses metal, classic rock, and grunge. The song is mystical, intriguing and the vocals and song seems to be their signature thumbprint ahead. I am looking forward to hearing their six song EP in the coming months."
